ABOUT THE COMPANY - Achievements
Some of our achievements in the security sector in Liberia as been many. Below are listed just a few of HAWA's involvement in the evolution of private security in Liberia:
- Spearheaded the formation of the Private Guard Service Association in Liberia.
- Hosted private security exhibition in Liberia at the local Ducor Hotel. The first of its kind to be held in Liberia.
- Invited to participate in Career day at local high Schools - the first for a private security company to be so invited.
- First private security company to provide seminar on Bank Security at the Liberia Chamber of Commerce, Monrovia, Liberia.
- First Liberian private security company to operate outside Liberia in Sierra Leone, and under the Mano River Union Agreement.
- Trained the first group of National Petroleum Company (NP) security personnel in Sierra Leone.
- Broke up a Major syndicate of Battery theft from car dealership in Liberia, bringing vehicles from the Freeport of Monrovia to their showroom. Thereafter all vehicle dealers used the information we uncovered for their problems they were having in the same area.
