HAWA Security Systems Inc. is a service contractor that has demonstrated its reputation as a proven leader in providing physical security. Founded by Charles E. King, President/CEO and based in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa, HAWA Security Systems Inc. is a Liberian wholly owned, self financed, security and management contractor providing services to both government and the commercial sectors since its inception in 1974.
Government of Liberia (GOL) would call upon HAWA Security Systems Inc., to provide extended services for the Government in certain areas where the need for access control was essential to free up other GOL security personnel.
HAWA's management team is comprised of veterans and other highly seasoned technical and business professionals with over 60 years of combined experience with military, law enforcement and security services with the national government. Our reputation has enabled us to obtain very prestigious contracts and was and is one of the most respected names in private security companies in Liberia before the Civil War.

HAWA Security is a Liberian owned company. HAWA is currently in the processed of being licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia and are insured and bonded. Before an officer is given a post location or his/her first assignment, all officers go through a company sponsored orientation and training period. Our training typically covers the same standards as would be expected for a security officer working in New York State as well as Virginia, i the USA. One may wonder why such standards. This is because the owner and operator of HAWA Security Systems is a strong believer in training and HAWA training actually surpasses many of the states requirements in the USA.
HAWA Security, has adjusted to the problems associated with protecting military assets, employees, visitors and contractors while they perform their day-to-day duties. We are confident that the workers assigned to various buildings, and their visitors, we protect feel safe. That’s why HAWA Security, ensures that every guard assigned to these facilities has current background checks, up-to-date weapons qualification, all required training, random drug screens, and continuous supervision.
HAWA Security, personnel perform electronic and computerized access control, visitor archiving, security desk monitoring, vehicle gate control, random and roving patrols, x-ray, magnetometer and package inspections, traffic control, handling visitors and tourists, and garage and loading dock services.
We understand the special facility security requirements that have been implemented in the wake of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, including the Department of Homeland Security Threat Advisory System, of the United States of America.. Our standards are high not only because we work with US companies, but because we feel that such standards only makes our officers more prepared for emergencies. HAWA is licensed nationally in Liberia and Sierra Leone , under the Mano River Union Agreement, before the civil war in the two countries.

We believe that you receive your best value when we send at no additional cost to the client, our Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists (Corporate Rover Supervisors) out at various hours of the day to “check the post.” Quality Assurance Specialists have been trained to check employees for attendance, punctuality, and job performance. Our QA Specialists also test personnel for knowledge of company policy, “general orders,” policies and procedures, post orders, and emergency operational plans.
QA Specialists with the Community Manager’s approval, will complete the required clearance application process and be trained and certified in accordance with the provisions set forth for all employees assigned to the contract.
